Tehachapi Mountain Trails Association

Hi,

My name is branden wade at this time i am 15 i am also new to tehachapi and was wondering if their was a formal or nonformal cycling club or if it was possible to set one up.

There is no formal Road Bike Club in the area that I know of. Seems that there's a lot of "Roadies" in and around town but nothing formal.

There has been a few attempts of setting up a weekly scheduled ride, but with the different levels of fitness and work schedules it just hasn't happened.

Sometimes I post a ride that My Bike Buds and I are going to do (see today's post for the Twin Oaks Loop ride tomorrow...Saturday).

But other than that, there no local road bike club.

The Kern wheelmen out of Bakerfield come up to Tehachapi for formal ride now and there.

Check out theirs "Rides " Page on their website ( http://www.kernwheelmen.org/rides-alone.php ). I join up with them for a ride from time to time.
