Tehachapi Mountain Trails Association

The topic title of this email is also a link on the right side of the tehachapitrails.org Forum page.  When I click on this link, i'm redirected to a Move Your Tail Event Page but once there, no information regarding the upcoming half marathon run (or any other activities at this event) come up.  I am most curious about the half marathon run and 10K run routes.  Have these courses been finalized yet?  I know that scouting was done this past Saturday, so I am thinking the various event courses have not yet been determined and therefore the page itself is still 'under construction'.  Is this correct?  Active.com doesn't have the info as yet either. 

True, the courses are not finalized. when they are we will post maps.

I know you are very busy.... just curious if maps of the trails will be up soon? Thanks for all that you do!

Not a prob, yep it's my intent to nail down the routes this week. The running ladies have their route worked out, I believe and I am 90%  there with the bike route so we should be closing that out shortly

What day(s) is this event scheduled as I don't see it on the calendar?

It's set for Saturday Sept 12th. I added it to the calandar now so it's up there.

Any update on the MTB course?

Yep and the running courses. We did a bunch of layout and mapping this weekend and have a few details to finalize before we put the courses up on the website. The Mountain Bike course is ready to post and you can check it out Here: http://www.mapmyride.com/route/united-states/ca/tehachapi/811125108916124115 We are going to ride the Indian Hills Campground portion on Tuesday for our weekly ride so look for that on the calandar, plus I'm sending out an e-mail as well. 

Is the trail available to ride or do we need permisson? My friend and I would like ride in on Monday if at all possible.

Unfortunately I have to make arrangements with the owner each time we go out there. The next time I'm scheduled to go out is Wed morning at 8:00 am to begin setting up the course through the campground.
